The BinaryBox
BinaryBox is a publication built to explore the core traits, thinking patterns, and skills that define the modern engineer. We live in an era of rapid technological change, where AI, automation, and emerging innovations are rewriting the rules, and our mission is to help readers stay knowledgeable, skilled, and relevant.
At BinaryBox, our goal is to
Inspire readers to cultivate the engineering mindset: problem framing, critical thinking, and creative designing.
Inform through updates on the latest technology advancements and ongoing research.
Empower engineers and tech enthusiasts to leverage AI and innovation without losing the human edge.
We believe engineering is more than technical execution, it’s about vision, ethics, and problem-solving in the real world.
What you get?
Here is why should you consider subscribing
Engineering Mindset & Skills
Articles and practical guides that explain what it means to think like an engineer, from trade-off analysis and design thinking to resilience and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Latest Tech Updates
Coverage of growing trends in AI, machine learning, robotics, sustainability technologies, and beyond to keep readers informed on industry shifts.
Research & Breakthroughs
Insights into emerging research in engineering and science, breaking down complex studies into actionable understanding for professionals and learners.
Why it was needed?
The tech world is evolving fast, and automation is taking over repetitive tasks. But what makes engineers valuable is not just their ability to code or design, it’s their mindset.
Binarybox exists to
Bridge the gap between emerging technology and human expertise.
Provide a space for dialogue and knowledge exchange.
Help readers adapt, grow, and stay relevant in the AI age.
Who it is for?
The BinanryBox is best suited for
Aspiring Engineers looking for guidance and real-world perspectives.
Professionals aiming to refine their engineering thinking and stay ahead of AI advancements.
Tech Enthusiasts interested in research, innovation, and the human-tech relationship.
BinaryBox is more than a publication, it’s a community of curious minds and problem solvers. Together, we explore
How to develop the engineering mindset.
How AI and humans can collaborate, not compete.
How to create impactful, ethical, and future-facing solutions.
About Me 😊
An engineer, architect, and educator who has spent the last decade-plus building products, platforms, and occasionally, patience.
I believe technology should solve real problems, not just generate slides and buzzwords. Over the years, I’ve worked with startups and enterprises across industries to help them ship meaningful products, from AI knowledge systems and scalable SaaS platforms to licensing systems used by governments and apps used by millions of everyday users.
Have participated in growth of some cool products at Adobe, PayTM, PayU, Naukri etc.
Along the way, I somehow became a
Trainer & Mentor for developers, founders, and teams
Speaker at developer communities, universities, and tech conferences
But what I enjoy the most is teaching and simplifying.
Because tech is already complicated, explanations don’t have to be.
BinaryBox is my attempt to
Make AI and engineering concepts easier to understand
Share practical lessons from real-world projects (the wins and the messy in-betweens)
Help developers & founders build things with clarity, reasoning, and intention
Encourage continuous learning (without burnout)
Expect content on
AI & Agents (beyond hype, the why and how)
RAG systems & reasoning layers using knowledge graphs
Product and engineering thinking
Architecture lessons from real systems
Practical learning frameworks to keep growing in tech
I write the kind of material I wish I had when I was starting out, clear, honest, and actually useful.
If that sounds like your vibe, stick around.
And if it doesn’t yet… it might soon. 🙂
Thanks for being here,
Ashok
